Doug Burbeck is the artist and creator of Burbecks Jewelry. Since 1979, Doug meticulously creates handmade porcelain and ceramic jewelry. He currently resides in Eagle Creek, Oregon, selling his art at nearby arts and craft shows and a few shops in the pacific northwest. He uses ancient pigment and brush techniques to produce beautiful, unique miniature paintings on each individual item. 

After Doug paints these highly detailed, one of a kind pieces, they undergo a firing process, glaze, and refiring. He then attaches the surgical stainless steel (hypoallergenic) findings you will find on all of his pieces. The final ceramic is a surprisingly light but well-balanced piece of jewelry, resulting in being quite comfortable to wear.
